From Abisko to Kvikkjokk

This tour was the very first trekking tour of our life and the starting point of this blog – you will find the whole story in the prologue!

The route includes the first two sections of the Northern Kungsleden from Abisko to Kvikkjokk. As a special highlight we have climbed Sweden’s highest mountain, the Kebnekaise, on a sunny day via a less frequently used route and made two side trips into the Sarek, a small one at the Skierffe with a dream view of the Rapadalen and a larger 3-day trip on the Boarek plateau.
