Île de la Réunion

We invite you to our extraordinary honeymoon: crossing the island of Réunion! Two thirds of the total area of the island is Reunion National Park and the inner zone is a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2010. We follow the Sentier de Grande Randonnée No. 2 from the capital St. Denis in the north to Basse Vallée in the south. The trail leads us over 180 km and 11,000 meters of altitude through tropical mixed forests, cloud forests, barren heath landscapes and surreal moonscapes of a volcanically highly active island.
